    Hi,
are there any reviews on the Safety 1st Eurostar strollers?
I see no reviews on any Safety 1st strollers and am wondering if it’s because they are not popular? Costco has a really great travel system one right now and am wondering if to buy or not.

    HI,
i’d like to see a review on the Graco Metro Lite.

    • July 15, 2009 3:35 PM

      BKB,

I will try to get some more information for you if you would like. However, from what i have read in the past on this model there are very mixed reviews and most parents dislike the stroller because it is big and bulky.

Graco has also discontinued this product and will be focusing more are care seats instead of strollers

I would love to see a review of the Baby Trend Sit & Stand Plus! It looks like a great stroller and the store reviews look very good. But it would be nice to have an objective opinion before I spend the money. If there is anything you can tell me about the Sit & Stand Plus by Baby Trend, I would greatly appreciate it. If it helps to know what I’m looking for – I have a daughter that will be 2 when the next baby arrives. The 2 year old is about 30 pounds and is over 32 inches tall.
I would also love to know if there are other affordable double strollers out there that have the option to change the seating arrangements like the Kolkraft tandem.
    Thanks for your help!!

      Hi Cami!
Thanks for your request!! I just posted a review of the Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus – I am definitely someone who must have all my research in order before I make a big purchase, so I hope this helps you.

I did look into some other tandem strollers for you. So far the Kolcraft Contours Options Tandem Stroller is still my favorite by far! It just has so many features and gets great reviews.

I also found a couple Joovy models that were on sale: Joovy Big Caboose is very similar, but with a sit n stand option. I was also impresses with the Joovy Caboose. These are getting wonderful reviews too!

Good luck with your search :)

Hi I have the mongoose hope stroller and loved it at first but now find that it is a pain in me daughters neck. The frame for the seat is no padded and is very uncomfortable for her I keep havin to put a folded up blanket behind her head because is bothers her. I have had it for about a year now and was thinking about getting some new. My girl is 37 3/4 inches tall and she can lay back comfortably anymore.

    Hi,

I am a first time mom (having a boy) going crazy over which stroller/car seat combo to purchase. My budget is under $300, I would like a light weight stroller that is easy to use, has a cup holder for baby and me.
I am looking at the Graco Quattro travel system – Townsend model. but it might not be light weight.

    Please help!

Hello, I had a baby in March, 2010. Was given the Graco car seat and stroller system. The stroller is very big and bulky. Took up the whole trunk of my sedan. If I could do it over, I would look for an umbrella stlye stroller that can take a car seat (for newborns). I was looking at Babies R Us and the sales person showed me some umbrella style strollers that can do this. The umbrella stroller could then last you a long time as your child grows.

My husband is airforce and we are stationed overseas. My main form of transportation is on foot since it is walking base. I am looking for a double stroller that is easy to maneuver, great sunshade, not a beast, and good storage capacity. I don’t want it all do I?!?! Price is not a concern since I will use it more than a car!

    • October 19, 2009 3:41 AM

      Hi Ashley!
Thanks for your great question. I would personally look for a side-by-side model instead of a tandem. They are usually easier to push and you will have easier access to storage. Zooper is my personally my favorite brand and they have the Tango double stroller.

Probably your best option is the Baby Jogger City Micro. Baby Jogger is one of the best names in the stroller industry and this model has gotten fabulous reviews. The design of this stroller makes it easier to push and more durable for uneven terrain.

Let me know what you decide!

I am trying to decide between the Baby Jogger, BOB Revolution, or the Tike Tech City X3 double strollers. I want a stroller that gives enough room for my children to grow and is not too narrow in the seat area. I like the idea of the ‘shock system’ in the BOB and Tike Tech so really I am having a real hard time distinguishing between the different specs on these strollers. I live in a rough terrain area (gravel, rocks, bumps, hills) so I want to diminish the amount of rough ride for my children. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the Double Baby Jogger Elite and it more than fills every need. I live in South Korea which is exceptionally rough terrain and it rides very smoothly and evenly. My girls are 21 mo. and 6 mo., they fit nicely with plenty of room to grow. There is ample storage space and it also fits through average doorways. The allies and shops around here are very narrow and rough. This stroller fits the bill entirely! I don’t know where I would be without it! Actually I would be trapped in Korea, stuck inside my house!! :) I would also suggest getting the rain cover! It’s really helpful.

    Hi!

I’m a mom to a 10.5 month old and due with another in 2 months! I’m trying to decide on a tandem or a side by side. I’m not much of a jogger but would like to be able to take the stroller on walks through the park, zoo, etc. The 3 particular strollers im looking at are the BOB Duallie Revolution, Bumbleride indie twin and the new Baby Jogger City Select. Input or reviews please?

I was in the same boat. Mine are 14 mo apart. I have the Baby Jogger Select and absolutely LOVE it! The only thing I may get other than that is the new Baby Jogger Tandem. But I haven’t heard anything about it. However, I live in South Korea (military) and the urban life is very bumpy around here and my jogger is incredibly smooth and easy to push. It has great storage space and can fit through all the doorways I’ve attempted. It is good if you have a space to park it rather than fold it down all the time. It is a bit heavy. Of course, when you get into the doubles they all are except for the Phil and Teds. A lot of people here swear by those too by the way! Hope it helps. Many blessings on your growing family and have fun!

Jennie, I am anxiously waiting for your follow-up comment about the Tike Tech City X3 double stroller as I have been wanting to try it out and am going between either the Bob or the Tike Tech. The only thing that will be the determining factor at this point (as everything else seems excellent) is if you can’t feel the difference in weight and if the child seems almost ‘weightless’ as in the Bob. I love that about the Bob but if the Tike Tech is also like that I will order right away.

Hi Shannon…… Love the Tike Tech City X3. Light weight, easy to maneuver and fits through most doorways. The only door I did not fit through was the dry cleaners but Starbucks, front door of house and grocery store all great. The wheels remove very easily and separate canopies are perfect. I have heard the Bob Revolution is the mega of all strollers but I have never used it so I can not compare. We went with the less expensive because I’m not sure how much longer I can talk my 3 year old into riding in the stroller.

We are expecting Twins! and already have a 2 yr old boy. I am looking for a twin side-by-side stroller that can accomodate the twins from birth. It would be nice to find a stroller that can, with an adaptor, have an infant car seat connected to it. If the stroller could have 2 infant car seats connected to it, or one basinet and one car seat, simultaneously, that would be best.

Are there any tandem jogging strollers? I recently ordered a double side by side jogger and its great for jogging, but I have trouble when I have to take my son to his many doctor appts because the thing is too big to fit between doors and aisles. Between my son (my son is nonmobile) and my nephew, I can’t tote these two so I really need to find a tandem stroller that works for jogging also and doesn’t cost too much. As long as the handles are high enough and the wheels switch between fixed ans swivel, I can work with anything.

I’m a foster mom or primarily newborns. I have an old Evenflo that I love because the foot rest can be pulled up around tray bar and it makes a great basinet. Sometimes if I’m just having the baby one night I will use the stroller as a bed and place to keep baby close by me as I wheel stroller with me around house. Is there an economical replacement for this stroller? It’s faded and looks its age.

Help! I love my Maclaren Twin Triumph for its compact size and easy handling, but after 2 years of use, both foot rests have torn off. The culprit is my now 8 yo son who is 58#, he has autism and low muscle tone and often needs to ride. I also have a 5 yo and 2 yo and we alternate who is riding with the other one walking. So basically I desperately need a double stroller that is usable for shopping and that doesn’t take up the whole trunk (Honda Odyssey), but is sturdy enough to handle a larger child. Does this exist?

What is your most recommended tandem stroller? I will be having my 3rd child this spring and would like a tandem stroller that would easily accommodate an infant car seat and a 2 year old. I borrowed the baby trend sit and stand xl from a friend and HATED it, it was hard to push and maneuver as well as not having any support for the back seat. Any feedback on your other tandems is appreciated. Thanks!
