The Duo Double Tandem Stroller by Foundations

For those of you who have two or more children, transportation can be a pain, especially when all of your children want to ride in the single-seat stroller at once! You may have considered investing in a double stroller, but never wanted to deal with its bulkiness.

The Duo Double Tandem Stroller by Foundations is a double stroller, and it is pretty large, but it has a lot of good features to consider too. For instance it may be bulky, but it is a double stroller, it seats two children, which is a big bonus particularly if you have or are expecting twins. And although it is heavy (36 lbs), it is very easy to maneuver. The ‘stadium’ in-line seating adds to the ease of steering between obstacles and allows both children to see out and interact with their surroundings. The duo also has double-tire, swivel front wheels (which help with steering too) that are made of durable rubberized foam and are shock-absorbent.

Since the Duo Tandem is a double stroller, you can expect twice as much from it! The storage basket in particular is an impressive size. There are also two brakes, the parking brake is foot operated; just a simple push will engage it. The second brake is a bar that the driver holds down on the handle as they push; it’s the Foundations SafeBrake™ system. When the bar is released, the brake comes on, keeping the stroller in place. In a couple reviews, it was a little of an inconvenience having to hold down the brake bar, but one reviewer suggested the use of Velcro straps to keep the bar in place while pushing.

Although stroller reviews report that the Duo Tandem stroller doesn’t have all the features, it is still a great deal for a double stroller. Four thumbs up from the passengers!
