GUEST BLOG POST – The Most Expensive Taste
Rachael Henderson has interned at Online Stores for two summers, and has now been recruited for Stroller Reviews. Although she’s new to the blogging world, she is very excited to jump into the action!

I’m really excited about writing for Stroller Reviews, but when I first found out that I was doing a guest blog post, I had no idea what to write about! I’m a single, non-mommy writer and I don’t have a lot of stroller experience, so I was stumped.
As I was looking through Stroller.com hoping for inspiration to strike, I began to wonder how much someone could expect to pay for the most expensive standard stroller. It seemed like an interesting topic, and I was now very curious to discover more. I began my quest by googling the “most expensive baby stroller”, and after sifting through the ‘pretenders’ that cost hundreds of dollars, I finally found a few models that were in the thousands! Here are the top three:
3) The Stokke Xplory – up to $1,200.00
The Stokke Xplory is the third most expensive stroller that I found. It is a carriage stroller with a tall frame. This keeps the baby close to whoever is pushing, which helps the baby feel secure. The frame is adjustable as well as the handles and seat. It is twenty seven pounds, has a five point harness, and looks very sporty, sometimes I even found it categorized as a jogger. I really like the Xplory, it’s very sleek, and seems to be very comfortable.
2) The Balmoral Pram – $2,995.00
The second most expensive stroller is actually a pram; a Silver Cross, Heritage Collection, Balmoral Pram to be exact. It has a steel body frame hand built in England, and is absolutely gorgeous. There is a ‘chrome shopping tray’ for storage between the wheels, and the solid wood handles have a gloss finish. However, it is also a little impractical. The non-collapsible frame, as well as the weight, (eighty one and a half pounds) makes it pretty much impossible to transport. Still, the luxurious upholstery and classic design are just so… romantic!
1) The Roddler – $3,500.00
And finally, the most expensive baby stroller is called The Roddler. It is basically a cross between a stroller and a classic 50’s hot rod, and is completely customizable from the frame to the fenders. However, there is no storage space. But it is collapsible, has a five point adjustable safety harness, and is upholstered in ultrasuede. In fact, this stroller is so cool you can actually get desktop wallpapers of it! But, the best part about this stroller is that when your baby grows out of it, the Roddler can be turned into a tricycle. I have to say, this is defiantly one of the most awesome strollers I’ve ever seen!

As a Stokke mommy for the past two years, We LOVE it! the Xplory goes over any terrain with ease and comfort. Day, night, country, city we have done it all and it still looks brand new! Worth the big price.
