Mountain Buggy Strollers – Straight to the Top!
In case you haven’t heard, there’s a line of strollers called Mountain Buggy that’s designed specifically for rougher terrain. My husband and I love hiking in the Sandias—the mountain range near our home in Albuquerque, New Mexico—so when I found out about these buggies, I was really excited to give one a try.
Mountain Buggy makes three different strollers: the Urban, the Urban Duo, and the Swift. I only have one son, so I had to choose between the Urban and the Swift. I checked online and found that they’re similar strollers, but in the end I went with the Swift because it’s lighter than the Urban—I hate struggling with a heavy stroller!
I couldn’t be any happier with my Mountain Buggy purchase! The Swift goes great over the trails that run along the base of the Sandias, and even when we’re in places like the grocery store, it handles like a dream! The Swift’s front wheel can also be locked into place, which is great since I love jogging as much as hiking!
The ride is also so smooth for the baby! I think it’s because of the stroller’s rear-wheel suspension and air-filled tires. When my son falls asleep in our Mountain Buggy, he’s out for over an hour sometimes! The stroller even came with a free air pump to fill the tires up when they’re running a little low!
Our Mountain Buggy Swift also seems to be really durable. It’s made from tough polyester fabric, which is water repellent—in case you happen to get caught in a storm while out hitting the trails. And although the aluminum frame is very light, it stands up well to the wear and tear of our regular hiking trips.
I could go on and on about all the great qualities of Mountain Buggy Strollers, but I’m sure by now you’d like to go ahead and take a look for yourself!
