Quinny Zapp Review

Have you heard the buzz about the Quinny Zapp? If not, you’ve probably at least spotted it in the mall. Its unusual shape catches the attention of parents wherever it rolls. It’s a great choice for travel because it’s a full-sized stroller, but lightweight at 13 lbs. It’s also small enough to stow in the overhead bin on an airplane, at just 12” x 27” when folded. It’s very easy to take to the gate at the airport and “travels fantastic” according to some Quinny stroller reviews.

Quinny fans love the easy maneuverability of this stroller with front wheels that rotate 360 degrees and lock when needed. The wheels allow for tight maneuvers and quick turns. The large, comfortable seat gets raves as well. The handles are a good height and comfortable to use. The 2-inch wide wheels help the stroller roll smoothly over terrain that might give other compact strollers a problem.

The Zapp is suitable for children six months or older. It includes a five-point padded harness for safety.

Now, for the downside. Some Quinny stroller reviews point out the lack of storage. You cannot hang any bags on the handles due to how easily it tips backwards. Also, it doesn’t have a multi-position reclining seat. If your child likes to nap in the stroller, they’ll have to do it nearly upright in the Quinny Zapp, according to stroller reviews from parents.

It is difficult to figure out how to fold the Quinny Zapp the first time out, but after that, parents report that it’s a breeze. The one-handed steering capability is a favorite feature, making it possible to steer this stroller with just one finger. The hood is large enough to keep your baby shaded, even on sunny days.

It comes with a few accessories, including a stylish travel bag for easy storage, as well as a rain cover, sun canopy, basket and adapters for use with the Maxi Cosi Mico car seat. Also available for purchase separately are a foot muff and bike carrier.

It is, unfortunately, not 13 pounds. This spec was updated after many retailers complained of this false bit of advertising. it is over 18 pounds.

Stylish, yes. Heavy duty, yes. Folds small, yes. A practical ‘lightweight stroller’, no.
