The Quad by Foundations
By Lydia Powers
Are you a parent that struggles to perform daily errands because of your rambunctious quadruplets? Or perhaps you’re the babysitter of three active one-year-olds, hoping there will come a day when you can have a stress-free trip to the park? If you’re a caretaker of multiple young children, it is imperative that you have a functional stroller to aid you in daily tasks. The Quad Stroller by Foundations, is a stroller designed with people like you in mind. This stroller-for-the-multiples aspires to aid you on your quest for an enjoyable ride.
A few stroller reviews from NextTag as well as Target felt that The Quad was a purchase that was well worth their money. One user was impressed with the design of the 2×2-style seating, as opposed to the usual “limo” arrangement. Although this increases the width of the stroller, another user felt that the stroller still fit through most doorways. To top it all off, one user felt that the stroller was a manageable size when folded. This is definitely a positive if you’re planning on traveling.
Not only does The Quad appear to have a functional design, but one user felt that the stroller was also durable. They concluded that the metal frame, as well as the material, was a solid choice for this stroller for multiples.
Despite these attractive features, a large amount of users were dissatisfied with The Quad. One of the main complaints of the stroller user reviews was the flawed design of the storage. Most users concluded that if anything of weight was placed in the provided under-seat storage area, the compartment would drag on the wheels.
Another issue that more than one user review found was that the stroller seats were too small to accommodate for toddlers. They concluded that the stroller appeared to be designed for infants.
One of the most important design issues that was found with the Quad was its weight. Coming in at 57 lbs., a few users found that when adding multiple children, the stroller’s weight was sometimes unmanageable.

This is actually the stroller octomom chose for her octuplets. She has two of them although I’m not quite sure it’s meant for newborns.
Hi is there anywhere in Australia where you can see or buy this pram.
Hi Alise!
Thank you for your question! I did some looking and I can’t find a vendor that is specifically in Australia, however Baby Haven (http://www.babyhaven.com/Foundations-Quad-Stroller.html) has a contact for international shipping.
I would look to see if you can find this model with international shipping – or you might check local listings for a used model. (You can even do this local search on ebay)
Sorry I can’t be of more help to you. The only other thing I can think of would be if you have family or friends in the States who would be willing to bring it over.
Hope you can find it!
Please let me know if you do! That would be great info to have!

Thanks for your blog on this stroller! I’m starting home daycare here in Australia, and I too was looking for a 4 seater stroller/pram only to find we don’t sell those things here in Australia!!
I too was looking at shipping from the US to Australia and there are two companies that will do it for roughly $330-$370 with FedX on top of the pram price. I feel it’s a combination of the stroller not being worth that much, and with reading the negative reviews being mostly that the stroller is heavy, heavy to push when full, small seats, really outweighs how good it will be to push my young daycare toddlers all at once. So all in all, we’re ordering one!!
