Graco DuoGlider LX
By Beth Fitzsimmons
I have three children under the age of four, so a double stroller is a must for our family. I currently have what is known as a side-by-side double stroller, and I have grown quite tired of getting stuck in the doorways of Walgreens, and the post office, and just about every other public facility with a narrow doorway. The Graco DuoGlider LX is a tandem double stroller, meaning it has a front and rear seat, making it much easier to maneuver children through the tight spaces of narrow doorways & store aisles. The Graco DuoGlider LX is easy to steer, even while carrying the weight of two children, and its seats are compatible with Graco Snugride infant car seats.
This stroller got great Graco stroller reviews and is popular with parents because of its roomy storage basket, parent tray, ease of folding, and because it doesn’t take up a lot of trunk room considering its size. All of these features making traveling with multiple children a breeze. Because this is a double stroller, it is among the heavier of the all-terrain strollers on the market, but many mention that they don’t notice the extra weight while pushing and maneuvering the Graco DuoGlider LX.
On the downside, the stroller canopies and child snack trays sometimes get in the way when folding the stroller and a few stroller reviews mentioned the seats are difficult to recline with one hand, and only have two positions. You can remedy this by removing the snack trays and canopies before collapsing the stroller. Despite its flaws, the Graco DuoGlider LX rates an average of four out of five stars.
Lastly, I want to address parents that are in the market for a double stroller—perhaps you’re pregnant with multiples or are expecting your second child. Keep in mind what you’re looking for when you’re “on the prowl”. Do you want
• A side-by-side or a tandem stroller?
• A stroller with ample storage space, or a more compact model?
• Is it important to you that your double stroller be compatible with an infant seat?
The type of double stroller that may be best for your friend’s family may not be best for your own, so it’s great to establish what you’re looking for before reading reviews. Happy strolling!

hello
i like this stroller & i have 2 kids so i think this the right stroller for me too. I admire to the way you look at it and what you tell us about this stroller , so thanks too much for all this information!
I found this stoller to be easy to use and just as light as my graco single travel stroller. The only issue with the stroller that I have is the fact that when you are travelling on uneven sidewalks (i.e. slanted surfaces) the stroller has the tendancy to want to tip over sideways, especially if you have the carseat attached as the weight is higher up. This would probably not be a problem for some, but here is Victoria there are slanted sidewalks galore.
Mine is the highstreet model, and the snack trays are very hard to get on and off, also the back seat is either all the way up or all the way down, nothing in between. I expected the big and bulkiness of it but compared the other graco’s I have owned, this one is not as sturdy, it creaks, and squeaks and it’s barely a few months old! Tips easily if traversing anything harder than a flat sidewalk. Given a second chance, I think I may have gone with the kolcraft contours, or spent a little more and got the quattro duoglider like I wanted.
