With summer and family vacations in full swing, it’s important to protect those stroller riding kiddies from the damaging sun and UVB rays. Which, as we all know are out even when the sun is not.   Let’s face it, most strollers don’t provide adequate protection from the suns rays and glare with their canopies.  It’s not only the umbrella strollers, but higher end strollers as well.

It’s time to call in the reinforcements, the Protect-A-Bub Sunshade.  It’s a stroller accessory that will work on almost any stroller, given they already have a canopy.

PhotobucketThere are several options to choose from, the classic single, twin or compact for smaller strollers with a canopy.  Both are made from a specially woven 50+UPF rated breathable fabric, providing 98+% protection from the sun’s rays and full air circulation.  Mesh sides ensure that air will be circulated all the while still offering 70% sun protection.  The classic sunshade is about 25% larger,  and the compact is on the slender side, still providing excellent coverage of your little passenger.  The classic works well for infants who are too young for sunscreen, yet will grow with them as they become toddlers.  All while providing full visibility to the young passengers!

Installation is a breeze.  Simply tie to the stroller frame. While some parents have reported that folding the stroller is a bit difficult with the Protect-A-Bub sunshade on, others have not reported any problems.  Protect-A-Bub sunshades come with a storage bag.  The color choices are black or navy.  Prices range from $21.95 for the compact, $39.95 for the classic and as much as $53.97 for the twin.

Judging from the reviews, the Protect-A-Bub Sunshade is worth the money, it gives parents peace of mind and provides excellent sun protection for children.  An excellent investment for those family vacations, whether you are headed to Disneyland or site-seeing in New York City, even everyday walks around the neighborhood.

This sounds like a really great product. My cousin is having a baby, so I’ll have to let them know about this!
