Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus
By Sarah Henderson
The Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus is a very popular stroller on the market today. At first glance, many Baby Trend stroller reviews give positive feedback but when digging a little bit deeper there are several quirks parents should be aware of.
According to user reviews, most parents rated this as a very versatile tandem stroller. The seats are spacious, and well padded, with the front seat offering two reclining positions. The suspension is great and will allow a smooth ride for your little passenger’s regardless of rough terrain.
The most popular feature however, was the easy with which the Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus converted from a tandem stroller to a sit and stand model. By unsnapping a few snaps the rear seat pops off and can be conveniently stowed in the large storage basket.
Usually it is really hard to find bad stroller reviews. Either a model is great or horrible wrong. In my research there was never one
huge complaint about the Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus, but the amount of little nagging problems was astounding.
As with all double strollers the Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus is a heavy model. Weighing in at 28 pounds, moms and dads said this posed some problems. This stroller can also be hard to fold up. According to stroller reviews, until you get some practice in, the process can be frustrating. Plus, the Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus does not fold very compactly so it takes up lots of trunk space.
Another complaint that several parent reviews brought up, was the fact that the rear seat only lays flat and could not be fastened up to support a sitting child. Also noted was the fact that the footrest for the toddler seat was in the wrong position to hold a child’s feet, leaving them to hang into the storage basket.
Many parents wrote terrific stroller reviews for this model, but others were just disappointed. If you are looking at the Baby Trend Sit n Stand Plus make sure you know what you want out of a stroller. Little issues like the handlebar not being padded, maybe something you can live with.

Thank you for the review, it definitely brings up some issues that I wasn’t aware of. I noticed yesterday that Baby Trend has a new model out now – the Sit and Stand Double. It looks very similar to the Sit and Stand Plus, but it seems to have resolved some of the issues. Any chance you could dig up some info on the Sit and Stand Double?
Thanks a bunch!! I really appreciate it!
Hi Cami,
I’m glad that helped. I did look up the new Baby Trend model and it looks as if it has a lot of the same features/problems.
Parents thought this model was really easy to fold and store, plus it has a sturdy frame and is easy to maneuver.
On the down side, many said it was cumbersome, heavy, bulky, and not adjustable. Also that the basket was small. One thing that I thought was odd is that the infant car seat goes in the front – I would personally feel safer with a stroller that allowed the car seat to be installed in the rear seat.
Hope that helps
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
