Esprit Sun Speed Umbrella Stroller
By Rebecca Sprouse
What a nice stroller! The Esprit Sun Speed Stroller is a super lightweight stroller that you are going to love. Parents give this stroller just under 5 stars for the awesomeness it provides. With great value and a cool design, you need only expect the best from Espirit!
As I’ve discussed in prior reviews, the umbrella stroller is the way to go when looking for easy transport. At only 13 pounds the Sun Speed can be used by anyone because transporting is a synch! The lightweight aluminum frame ensures long term use as well as easy folding. The Sun Speed is not a space hog so it is ready to go wherever you need it to. And of course it’s safe! Being sturdy on its wheels and providing a 5 point safety harness your child will stay in place for the ride.
The size and weight of this stroller makes it a great pick to take just about anywhere. Parents love the comfortable plush seat that reclines in 5 different positions from sitting straight up all the way to laying straight back. The footrest also adjusts to accommodate your child’s position from the reclining seat. It is great that the storage basket is a good large size. Sometimes on umbrella strollers, this feature can be overlooked and provided to you only in a small size.
Overall, the Esprit Sun Speed Stroller holds up well and provides a nice comfortable ride for children 6 months and up!

Stroller Give Away
Fact: The Esprit Sun Speed Stroller has a comfortable plush seat that reclines in 5 different positions from sitting straight up all the way to laying straight back.
I had the Jeep liberty stroller. Even though my son loved it and it was easier to walk behind then any of the other strollers I had with my other children, it was to big and bulky to take on family events in my car. It seemed like it took up half the trunk and was almost imposible to get out once we got it i here.

Hi,
I bought this stroller for our newborn daughter 3 months ago and its comfortable and easy to use. Its lightweight, and doesn’t take up too much boot space. Now, my 3 yr-old rides in it, ditching her old stroller. Hope she’ll give it up to her baby sister when her sister is old enough to ride it.
Here i have a few concerns i want to highlight, just for info to those considering buying the Sun Speed. The recliner latches at the back to me are poorly design, because first time users could injure their fingers when trying to lower the backrest. To avoid this, just make sure you lower the backrest first before putting your child in, if not her weight could make the backrest fall down too fast getting your fingers caught between the backrest and the latch bars. Also make sure to tuck your fingers away when you use your thumbs to press/release the latch so they don’t get caught. Maybe Esprit could issue finger guards to be attached to the latches to prevent injury.
Another one is, the reclining footrest when lifted up could get stuck with the lower black plastic footrest located above the wheels. When this happen, the stroller cannot be opened fully. It took us ten minutes to figure out what is holding the stroller from opening. Just pull the reclining footrest to free it from the black plastic footrest and it will open normally.
Thank you.
